Alicia 260 days ago today since I last heard your voice, had a hug off you, or since you told me mam I love you. As the days go by the pain gets deeper. I miss you so much. I love you. xxxx

'I'll lend you for a little while a child of mine ,'

he said, For you to love while she lives, and mourn when she is dead.

'It may six or seven years, or twenty -two or -three,

But will you, till I call her back, Take care of her for me?

'She'll bring her charms to gladden you, and shall her stay be brief,

You'll have her lovely memories as solace for your grief.

I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return,

But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.

'I've looked the wild world over In my search for teachers true,

And from the things that crowd life's lands I have selected you.

'Now will you give her all your love, not think the labour vain,

Nor hate me when I call to taker her back again.

I fancy that I heard them say, 'Dear Lord, Thy will be done,

For all the joy thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run.

'We'll shelter her with tenderness. we'll love her wile we may,

And for the happiness we have known, we'll ever grateful stay.

'But shall the angels call for her much sooner thatn we planned,

We'll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand.'

You can shed tears that she is gone

Or you can smile because she has lived

You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back

Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left

Your heart can be empty because you can't see her

Or you can be full of the love that you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live for yesterday

Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday

You can remember her and ache that she has gone.

Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry, close your mind, be empty and turn your back

Or you can do what she would want:

Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

A daughter is one the most beautiful gifts this world has to give. Maybe thats why it hurts so much when that gift has been taken away from me. When you were born I held you in my arms and just kept smiling at you. You always smiled back your eyes open full of love. You were such a beautiful, sweet baby.  As I watched you grow up and become your own person I reflected on your laughter, your happiness, your beauty, your simplicity and I thought you would enjoy a life of sensitivity, goodness, acomplishment and love. I want to tell you that I am so proud of you and I love you Alicia. xxx

It's so hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. You were always laughing and smiling, making memories that i'll never forget. I will never forget the times that we had because they were the best times of my life, miss you Alicia xxx
